When I read that I had to actually develop and present a professional development class/unit, I was overwhelmed. Then I read that I had to create an outline for the unit in this class. I almost had an anxiety attack. How does someone sit down and develop a professional development from scratch with minimal guidance? I guess that's why I'm in this master's program. I am here to change the face of education in my class and in my school. 

 

I chose to do my innovation plan on blended learning. You can                         to read it. Blended learning is something that has interested me for many years and I finally have the opportunity to not only implement it in my own classroom, but I have the chance to share it with my colleagues and get it started in my very own school, campus wide. If the program is successful, there is a chance that it can be shared with the entire district.

 

I thought long and hard about how I would complete this daunting task, and I think I have a great start. I started with the end in mind. I am truly excited for this new and overwhelming chapter in my life and this new layer to my career in education. Below is the google slide presentation of my outline for the PD I will be planning.
