This course was one of the most challenging and very rewarding classes in this entire program. I have to admit, this is the ONE course I was dreading and scared to start. I had never created an entire ecourse from scratch before and it was very intimidating. I am so glad that I was a part of this class, and I'm glad it was one of my last classes.

The first assignment was to create a video that introduces an ecourse that I created. The course needed to be an extension of my innovation plan. My innovation plan was to bring blended learning to my class, school, and possibly district. I created an ecourse for my colleagues that would be joining me in my journey of implementation. The video that I posted for the first assignment needed to be an overview of my ecourse plans including the following pieces (to make only a few): outcomes and goals, assessments, syllabus for the course, and my implementation outline. I had to do a lot pf retakes of the video, but I was quite proud of what I created. To watch my first video or this course, click here to be redirected.

The second assignment that I completed was the implementation video. I was required to make an ecourse to share with my intended innovative audience. I went out of my comfort zone and designed my ecourse on an LMS that I had never tried before, Canvas. It was surprisingly easier than I had anticipated. I uploaded my video along with a link to my Canvas course. To go to the implementation page click here.

The third and final assignment was to create a usability test to give to colleagues to complete. They were to test the usability and ease of my ecourse that I created. The first thing I did was create a scavenger hunt that the users would use to explore my ecourse. They were then instructed to complete a Google survey to provide feedback and feedforward about the course.
Here is the scavenger hunt Canva slide show. I collected the 2 instructional coaches in my school, one 3rd grade teacher, and the assistant principal for a small introduction meeting. They were shown the slides shown here. They were then told that they would have 3 minutes to complete each task. At the end of the slides, they were all given the Google Forms that is in a PDF form below to complete.
